Askia Fountain (Compound Entertainment/TEG) of New York/Atlanta is no stranger to the music industry and the word “prodigy” best describes this young entrepreneur. Askia began his career at the young age of seventeen working for Mercenary Entertainment. Although this may sound unfamiliar to you all, this family production and marketing company was responsible for creating the “Always Coca Cola” ad for the Coca Cola Corporation, as well as ads for our favorite restaurants such as: Pizza Hut and McDonalds. This was only the beginning of Askia mastering the marketing and production side of things to land him his next big opportunity with a legendary mogul and big name artist in the music industry.
For the next few years, Askia Fountain worked under the supervision of the Legendary Russell Simmons. He has since moved on and currently works for the well known R&B Artist Ne-Yo’s Compound Entertainment Company as Chief Business Officer for scouting and introducing fresh new producers and artist as an addition to the company. Mr. Fountain is responsible for consulting on R&B artist Ginuwine and Slim of 112 albums to only name a few. Askia is manager of one of the hottest upcoming songwriters “Nata Walka” who is responsible for penning his creativity on songs like “Blame it” sang by Jamie Fox and “Say Ahh” sang by Trey Songz. Askia Fountain is now expanding internationally representing film and television projects as well as entertainers and actors of all ages through his Timeless Entertainment Company.
